Our Story
We believe veterinary clinics deserve equipment they can rely on — backed by service they can trust. In 2025, we took ownership of Imex Medical with a clear goal: to raise the standard of what clinics across New Zealand should expect from their equipment partner.
Although we come from outside the veterinary profession, the opportunity to step into an industry so closely connected to animal welfare is something we care deeply about. Working alongside veterinarians and clinic owners across New Zealand has quickly become one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.
We understand that the work you do carries real responsibility. Your equipment isn’t just hardware — it supports patient outcomes, staff efficiency, and the reputation of your clinic. When something fails or support is slow, it adds pressure where it shouldn’t. That’s why we focus on doing the fundamentals properly. Since taking ownership, we have concentrated on:
- Expanding and refining a product range we are proud to stand behind
- Strengthening our technical support and aersales service
- Improving responsiveness and communication
- Keeping pricing fair and sustainable for clinics of all sizes
We work with small animal practices, equine facilities, and mixed clinics nationwide — supplying everything from major imaging systems to
essential daily equipment. But more importantly, we aim to be reliable, straigh orward, and easy to deal with.
We are based in Cambridge, Waikato, and regularly travel throughout New Zealand to support installations, training, and servicing. If we say we will do something, we do it.
We are building Imex to be a long-term partner to veterinary clinics practical, dependable, and commi ed to supporting the important work you do every day.
